I'm starting to see the benefit to dusting on a...
However - at least because I am short no one expects me to dust the high up places.

I'm cleaning for the in-laws
and the dog just came inside and tracked mud all over my floors.

I just heard that people are arguing to lower the “qualifications” for getting the lap-band surgery. Now, I will admit I don’t know much about this.
But what they said was that right now you must be 5’6” and 215lbs to qualify. They want to lower it to 5’6” and 186lbs.

Stories of the amazing stay at home mom....
So today. Today my stomach is a little….off. Throughout the morning I was enduring cramps on and off that rivaled my early contractions. I played on the floor with Audrey and just took moments when I needed, closing my eyes, deep breathing and waiting for the cramps to pass.
Eventually this was not enough. Eventually I needed to be in the bathroom. I needed to set up camp in the bathroom....
uh-oh
Anybody care to take bets on how long before these products are in my house?

This was NOT the morning I expected.
Good thing I took Audrey in - turned out she was wheezing. Actually the doctor said she might be a “happy wheezer”…I am NOT a happy mama.
She has Bronchiolitis. She needs breathing treatments 3 times a day. Which we get to hold her down for…while she struggles and cries. Or, at least, that’s what she did for the nurse when she had her first one an hour ago. Though...

To the doctor, to the doctor we go
So Audrey has had a pretty bad cough for several days now. So today we’re going to get it checked. I feel bad though because it will mean pushing her morning nap back - and having to take her to get poked and prodded just to make sure she is ok.
Her mood is so good that I keep questioning bringing her in….but the cough is so bad.

"Oh wow, those earring actually look good on you"
Is what my mom said this morning with a twinge of surprise and jealously in her voice.
She gave me the earring for Christmas yesterday.

One more Christmas
and then we get to go home for a few days before we make the big drive to celebrate the last Christmas.
I mean, not the LAST Christmas….but it will be our last friggin’ “ho ho ho” for 2010.
