Set in manual (still using autofocus though) I used these setting for the ceiling-fan pictures.
And I had my flash bounced towards the wall.
Also:
Yes, I hope to focus on it a lot more. Not only pictures of Audrey, but of the world around me. I also hope to find the confidence to break out and start taking pictures of other families. Wish me luck!

More than anything - I dread getting dressed in the morning.
If I don’t know ahead of time what I am going to wear - this process involves cussing, clothes throwing, sweating and some days tears.
I would LOVE to be able to wear scrubs to work everyday. Just have to get up and pick out the color.
Time to quit bitching and go see which pants feel the most comfortable today.
I'm sure this will bite me in the ass someday...
But I got my first series of, “One more kiss Mommy” tonight in Audrey’s effort to put off bedtime.
And I LOVED it.

At 3:15 YOUR Monday is over.
At 3:16 MY Monday starts.
My Monday has involved a lovely, sunny drive home while talking to an old friend. Followed by a precious few moments of having the house to myself and some peace with a little quiet. Soon my bouncy little girl will come through the door, demanding songs, smiles and attention. Probably some juice too.
Then family play time. Dinner together. Snuggles before bedtime.

Today’s the kind of day where, if I had one, I would LOVE a hot bath.

Audrey wanted to sing song after song, after song tonight at bedtime. As I only know a limited few songs all the way through - this was difficult. Fumbling around - I landed on a short part of a song that I know all the words too.

When I woke up at 3 a.m. needing Tums and Tylenol, I blamed that last glass of wine I had while staying up too late last night.

Fitbit update
Wore that bad boy for an entire day at work. It was a lazy day at work though because of the holiday - parties and what not in the afternoon which allowed for me to sit at my desk and catch up on paperwork.
Still logged just over 6k steps and all 10 flights of stairs! Yay me!
As the weather gets nicer I have plans of at least walking in the evening to ensure getting my steps, if not jogging.

So I've done fitbit for a day and a half so far.
A rather lazy day and a half.
I’m curious to see what is going to happen when I wear it to work tomorrow. I do walk around quite a bit at work, but I am worried that I think I walk around more than I actually do.
We’ll see. Either way this should be motivation for adding a walk/run to the evening when I realize I didn’t move much throughout the day.
