I need to tell you what Kel and I put away at The Publican tonight

- 6 Chef’s selection oysters
- Ahi tuna crudo with persimmon-celery salsa verde
- Taste of 3 hams : Serrano, La quercia rossa, Edwards country ham
- Charcuterie plate with pork/fois gras terrine, Pork pie, head cheese, coppa, Morteau sausage
- Liverwurst on crusty bread
- Blood sausage with pears, onions and picked beets
- Suckling pig with grits, broccoli raab and anchovy-tomato vinaigrette

One of the best dinners I’ve ever had.

It was quite unexpected how much I loved all of this. I didn’t give the menu a fair shot at all. I mean - Ahi tuna? Yum. Ham? Yum. Liverwurst? Hell yeah. Blood sausage? Um, would you marry me?!?!

And the pig was the perfect dessert!

What a great night!!!!

I love to take showers so hot that my skin turns red. I love my bed and could stay in it all day sometimes. I own way to many pairs of comfy pants. I am a plain white cotton underwear girl. I love having my hair brushed and will do whatever I can to talk someone into it. I have outfits that match whatever mood I am in and I wear them accordingly. I hate talking on the phone and will avoid it if possible. I love watching thunderstorms. I like sunrise better than sunset, but can never find anyone to get up with me. I love camping and kayaking. I love to sing, but am so bad at it that I will run my cat out of the room. I never think anyone likes me and am always suprised to learn they do. I can't stand things to be messy or crooked. I like to workout while I am working out, not so much motivated before though. I love wear high heels cause they make me feel sexy. I drop things, I spill things, and I trip over nothing. I love to dance. I talk to my dog when no one else is home. I am always cold. There can never be too many blankets on the bed. I love to sleep with the window open, even in the middle of winter. I love mexican food and chinese too. I love to laugh and being around people who make me laugh. I blush way too easily. I talk way too much. I am a sucker for cheesy romance. I am a control freak and I have no plans of changing that about myself. In fact, I have no plans of changing anything about myself. So deal...if you don't like me, leave :)
